    Jury Hostage: Day Two

I will say this about the Manhattan court system, they offer WiFi, so plenty of time to blog and catch up on reading that has been stacking up in my office and on my desk at home.  Of course I am not without my Blackberry, so I am sorry I will miss today's interview with Eric Claus, the President and CEO of A&P, to talk....bologna!  My producer Lou Giserman is truly a funny person, and he could sell a glass of tap water straight from the faucet to you for a dollar.  Be sure to catch the interview with Tom and Alexis.

Anyway, as I catch up on the news, I must say I hate not being in the middle of this Chrysler story.  As I watch lawyers, judges, and court officers walk by me every few minutes in the jury room (and the team of lawyers in their hallway huddles are pretty funny) I can't help but wonder if it will be our court system that will ultimately fix this great automaker or sent them into liquidation.  While I can only get half the story since I'm not in the hallways of Fox Business today, I can certainly ponder what these nicely dressed attorneys and the clients they represent will ultimately turn Chrysler into.

It is my belief that because the American taxpayer and the government is so deeply intertwined and now invested in the future of both Chrysler and General Motors, that the Supreme Court will somehow take that into consideration.  BUT, on the other hand, I keep hearing about fairness and impartiality when it comes to judges, and if those at the Supreme Court level do indeed uphold their oath, it could be anyone's game.

So, I'll watch and monitor the games from my laptop inside 60 Centre Street in lower Manhattan.

    Talk Soon,

    CC

CC I'm doing the same by the way, Think in the bigger picture: what the implications of the Supreme court now with GM? Becouse of the question of constutionality of the tarp is now in play.
