Best Guess: Triathlon Edition

TOM SULLIVAN: Microsoft will finish the year on a very strong note.  There is huge pent up demand for their next operating system, Windows 7, which is released on October 22^nd.

RON IANIERI: My Best Guess has to do with the introduction of a new term "Panic Buying".  We are all familiar with the term panic selling.  Every time we have a parabolic downturn in the market we see that after the selling frenzy is over the market trades back up sharply.  We have seen this several times already in this recessionary market.This concept should hold true in both directions.  I expect a good size sell off to occur after this panic buying rally.  A parabolic up normally means a parabolic down.

BRIAN SULLIVAN: Dow will go hit 8000 (fall) again before it hits 10,000. Major bear call.

CHERYL CASONE:  I plan to finish this weekend’s NYC Triathlon on Sunday in under four hours.  My fundraising goals will be met, and I plan to eat a large cheeseburger with a side of beer to celebrate.  Also, it won’t rain Sunday.  Go Team Casone!
