Best Guess: White House Beer Edition

On today's show we had the three beers that the President, the Professor, and the Police Sergeant will be drinking later today.  Of course, none of those beers are made by American owned companies, and thus the business debate began!  Do you guys care that the beer is not made by American companies????

    STUART VARNEY:
Mr best guess is that if Congress came out today, and said there will be socialized medicine, paid for by a big tax increase on the rich, the Dow would fall 1,000 points in a couple of weeks! In reverse, the Dow is up at a 2009 high, because socialized medicine and a tax to pay for it, is virtually off the table!

LIZ MACDONALD: When America sneezes, China catches pneumonia and I’m not just talking a/b our rampant deficit spending. US consumption is down, while US savings are up; China’s exports are down, imports are up, GDP will grow slower than the white hot double digit pace China has enjoyed over the past several years.

MATT MCCALL: The declining approval rating of Obama is good for the economy and stock market. The lack of support from Americans will hinder the presidents desires to move from capitalism to socialism and in the end the free market will win and this will be the base for the next bull market.

CHERYL CASONE: TennCare was a miserable failure in 1994, and the public option in the House bill, if passed will also fail. 150,000 folks were dropped from TennCare in 2005, left with nothing. The same fate awaits the public option.

Hi Cheryl, Don't really care about the ownership of the beer, just that someone would have so little appreciation of good beer that he would drink Bud Light! Seriously, though, I wish Obama would have had a bottle of Goose Island beer - this is a Chicago craft brand that has some terrific varieties (e.g. Nut Brown Ale) and would have gotten a big boost if the president drank it. Love your show and FBN in general. Regards, Tom Hayes Lisle, IL

The world headquarters for AB InBev is moving to NYC. The AB headquarters will remain in St. Louis, that's one tradition that will remain intact.
