Best Guess: Stuart Returns and Gets It Wrong

Our dear friend Stuart Varney has been gone for the last two days, but he was back at 12pm ET Wednesday.  His best guess is that retail sales will again dissapoint this year.  I completely disagree and the Best Guess segment went off the rails from there. Best Guess: New Year's Edition

Monday was a slow market day because of the Jewish holiday (happy new year to those that celebrate!)  We still had a nice run of the markets though, with a triple digit gain on the Dow.  Volume was light though, and it all depends in my humble opinion on what the jobs report looks like come Friday.  So far today we've gotten Case-Shiller which is somewhat positive, but if it's true there is a ... read more

Best Guess: AZ Cardinals VS. NY Giants

Best Guess: United Nations Edition

Hello folks.....it is United Nations week here in NYC.  Pretty much we are under seige by the leaders of the world.  It's very exciting, I just don't like the traffic jams in the city.  Sixth avenue, in front of Fox News, is a disaster.  Security is tight, and of course with the new terror alerts, it always makes us a little uneasy just getting on the subway, or driving through a tunnel.  ... read more
