    Best Guess: "Baucuscare" Edition

Today was a busy day on the show.  We had tape come in of President Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in the Oval Office talking trade and Afghanistan.  You would think that chilly meeting would be enough to blog about, but the real story today was "Baucuscare".  Max Baucus, Senate Finance Chairman, unveiled his proposal for healthcare reform.  Remember, there are already three House versions floating out there.  The President is planning to hit all the talk shows this weekend (except for Fox News Sunday which is a huge mistake, that show is excellent and has great ratings) and yet Max Baucus comes out with a plan that has no Republican support.  It is incredibly complicated, but the cost at this point is lower at $838B.  We'll see how long it stays that low.  It's Congress remember?

Anyway, he spoke at the end of our show, so no Best Guess today.  Here is what did not make it on television:

MATT MCCALL: Despite a mild inflation number this morning, inflation will be severe in the coming years send commodities such as gold much higher.

GREGG JARRETT: Democrats won’t let Pres. Obama down entirely.  They’ll pass something they’ll “label” health care reform… but it won’t be the Baucus bill in current form.
STUART VARNEY: Cap and Trade will fail….will not make it thru the Senate,…..

CHERYL: News that Facebook booked a profit could be the turning point for Web 2.0 companies that have been doubted by Wall street and Main street.

Facebook Making a profit = a very good thing for many people.
