    The NFL Vs. Reality

Did you happen to see housing starts today? If you have yet to look at the report, spare yourself, I’ll just tell you, it was the worst number for new construction since 1970. The drops year over year and month to month were so off the charts negative, you’d think the stock market would go into a freefall. Yes, the market is down as I write this but hardly a big fall. Why? Because we’re so used to a steady stream of bad news about housing and/or the economy we have become immune to it.

Add that to the backdrop of millionaires and billionaires who continue to squabble over well, millions and billions (thanks to our friend Dennis Kneale for giving us a well needed laugh.)

Dear Ms. Casone: Just listened to your discussion with Meme Roth regarding: Ronald McDonald. Please don't be so polite with that idiot! She is the problem not the solution. Thank you, Fred Warren

While I like to watch football, if they do not play I will do something more constructive. So don't play, I don't care.
